Past Treasure of the Month
The Rosenberg Library has been acquiring artifacts for its museum collection for more than a century.
From its beginnings, the Library has functioned as more than a book repository.
The Library accepted its first piece of art, an enlarged photograph of the ruins at the Parthenon, shortly after the building opened in 1904. Since then, thousands of rare and interesting objects from around the world have been added to the collection. The “Treasure of the Month” series was created in 2006 as a way to share these special items with the community.
